I've been using this practice for nearly 40 years. I think we are fortunate to have it here in Nailsea. So, one star reviews are a big surprise to me and people can be very demanding and tense when they are unwell. A really good receptionist is absolutely essential and there have been some grumpy ones in the past but we simply don't know what sort of abuse they get. Never had a problem at Backwell surgery, can’t praise the doctor I saw or the nurses. The GP saved my life by picking a problem up from my blood tests, eternally grateful

My husband could not book an appointment on line. App useless, no access to blood or test results. Received a message regards an online group chat about diabetes and controlling alcohol intake. No idea why as he has not had any face to face medical professional for years. After a blood test and ultra sound test he had no contact even by phone or via the app. Getting appointments is difficult, trying to get past receptionist is almost impossible, just to speak to someone.

Amazing because dr griff is amazing he’s so kind, he doesn’t treat you as a friend but treats you on his same level which is very important with mental health. He is one or only doctors I trust he deserves a raise he deserves to be recognised for his hard work also the receptionist they are always willing to try and help you they go beyond helping you so thankyou to both for helping me these last 5 years

The new call back system is genius. You even get sent a link so you know where you are in the queue. And then when I got to speak to a human they were super helpful. Thanks
