Historical community center in Surrey, bc. Recently attended a memorial and it was wonderful. Across the street from beautiful Tynehead Park. Plenty of parking.
It’s the last Community Hall in Surrey that is still owned by its community society. Built in 1907, it serves as the hub of Tynehead. The tree round on the wall, that dates back to the turn of the first millennium dominates the hall and community events continue to be hosted throughout the year.
Surrey Central Lions have its monthly Tynehead community spaghetti dinner. Excellent hall with kitchen and heritage building. Area cleanup done. Great service by high school youth of Leo Clubs.
