Outrageous behaviors will occur if you are there. Have your baby else where! You can trust this message. I approve of this message.
I transfered here from another hospital as a patient to be with my son who went to the NICU after birth. The staff in the maternity center triage constantly questioned what the other hospital did with medication and why they gave me this medication and not this when I was giving birth. Don't ask me, read the hospital report and ask the other hospital. I'm not a trained medical professional. By the way, the hospital I came from did nothing wrong. Weird hospital tries to force you to breastfeed to follow its agenda. I understand it may be better for the baby, but they can’t force you to do something or try to guilt trip you into it. Also, the staff are just lazy and lie, saying they are understaffed as an excuse for their incompetence and laziness. Trust me, they aren’t understaffed. They’d rather sit around at the main desk on their phone and drink coffee.
I am currently 31 weeks pregnant and have been admitted 3 times for high blood pressure. The nurses and doctors have been great every time.
I gave birth to my first son at this facility and the nurses were rude and they gave me a nurse in training to take care of me when I was recovering and she didn’t really know what she was doing and repeatedly tried to put a catheter in me right after a vaginal delivery and didn’t know how and put me in SO MUCH PAIN AND WOULDN'T STOP. The lactation specialist was rude and kept pushing breastfeeding on me despite how much pain it put me in and how upset it was making my newborn who wouldn’t latch on.
