I had such a TERRIBLE experience with TYKO Development full of broken promises and continued false promises and incomplete work. This started back in mid-2019 when a new home was being built adjacent to my property. It started off very well with the TYKO representative came over to introduce themselves and assured me that they would take care of EVERYTHING and not to worry about any damage issues with my property. Tyko built my house in 2016/2017. Their prices were competitive and their subs were overall good to deal with. Jack and Ken are the principals. Their subs were OK to deal with in regards to extra costs as I wanted some extras (always confer with Tyko when dealing with subs). I've heard horror stories about other house developers so finding a respectable, reputable, honest one will give some peace of mind for the largest project of your life.
Tyko built our Laneway House in 2017. They helped guide the complex journey every step of the way and continue to provide guidance and support years after the house was built. They will be our first contact when we build another home. We are quite happy that they back up their product and go up and above for their customers. Thanks for building a wonderful home at a reasonable price and being easy to work with. We love our place!
