We spent 3 nights/4 days at this campsite recently and had the most relaxing wonderful time. The owner Chris was superb! Incredibly welcoming, attentive to our needs and made our stay feel very special indeed. The surrounding countryside is beautiful with plenty of walks and stunning views. We used the pool twice and thoroughly enjoyed having it to ourselves. It is located on a farm, so expected it to have a basic rustic feel. Which was exactly what we wanted. I recently visited The Tye Swimming Pool, and unfortunately,(see photos) it was a disappointing experience. The pool itself is very old and feels quite run-down. There’s visible green mould in some areas, and the pool lining is clearly wearing away. The changing rooms are outdated and dusty, and the overall upkeep leaves a lot to be desired.
