We really enjoyed the location and our stay on Tybee Island (except for the $60 parking ticket when I wasn't paying attention :) ) Bernie's and the Crab Shack were get places to eat. We did an inland fishing trip with Bennett from Georgia Coast Charters, and it was outstanding. We caught a bunch of fish, Bennett dropped us off on a sand bar to pick up seashells, and Bennett educated us on the 4000-year history of the area.
This was our family’s second visit to “Almost Heaven” in Tybee Island. We loved it so much the first time that we had to come back! It was everything they advertised. We loved the pool and the private fenced yard. For a cozy cottage the kitchen and living/dining area is very spacious and fully stocked. This year they added a wonderful side porch that we used every day, it’s a wonderful addition! We loved Tybee Island, it’s low key. We definitely hope to come again next year!
I spent the first two weeks of May at this quaint cottage. The interior is very neat and clean. It has all the conveniences of home such as coffee maker, microwave oven, etc. The cottage is a very short walk to the beach as well as being close to restaurants, gift shops, and convenience stores. One can rent, if desired, a motor cart to traverse the general area. I truly enjoyed my stay at the Old Love cottage. I hope to visit Tybee Island again in the near Future.
Great time in the Wish Upon a Starfish Cottage! We were a group of 8: 3 senior citizens, 3 40 somethings, one 20 year old and one teen. Plus a little dog! The space worked well for us with 3 adults in the downstairs unit and the rest of us upstairs. Please note the two units are totally separate, with separate entrances and kitchens in both areas. Doc Holiday Cottage was wonderful! The pool and below house area was perfect for our family in a great location to walk to the beach and the kids loved the front porch in the mornings and at night!
