Had my Dad's first visit today with Dr. Brown and his team. I can not say enough good things about Dr. Brown and his assistant Tracy. They were phenomenal! Took lots of time with us to explain everything. Very patient with all of our concerns. It was very thorough. And superior bedside manner. We left confident that we received the care and help needed.
He is very unprofessional and was calling patient's family names when would call to get information on their condition. He tried saying condition was all in her head even though conditioned worsened and wouldnt listen to anyone's else's insight into patients case. This dr suffers from a God complex. He thinks every patient is a drug seeker if they complain about pain in least bit. He says patient comfort isnt his responsibility only making sure medically healthy and if he cant find what's wrong then nothing is. He said word ... read more
I was recommended to him by my PCP. Within 5 minutes of my appointment he said “just so you know, I don’t hand out prescriptions.” I had to remind him that I was not seeking medication, I just wanted to figure out the root of my condition. I thought this was extremely unprofessional for him to say. I felt like I was being stereotyped as a drug seeker. Would not recommend.
First visit today - very satisfied - very good communication
I have a very close relative that went to Mr. Brown recently and he did nothing to help her. She knew something was wrong. She tried to tell him, even show him a video of an episode- he did not care to see. No MRI- nothing. As her condition worsened she was put in the hospital. That's when we find out she has a serious brain tumor that is called gliblastoma. If you read this review Dr Brown how about you take time to listen to patients with compassion- Please! This could have been stopped sooner
I would recommend Dr. Brown, he sees our daughter. However, I could never get my husband scheduled with him. They would not accept his VA records and referrals. I was very disappointed in the staff because of this. Dr. Brown was never aware of the problem, I am sure. I am sad that St. E would treat a veteran like this and refuse him an appointment.
He is one of the best doctors. You won't be disappointed.
