Our move was not simple: a fully laden truck onto a barge, which was then parked up on a beach, and all of the new furniture was taken out over the sand and up a goat truck up a hillside. The old furniture had to come and onto the beach/rocks and then into the same truck. As the tide came in, the water got knee high and yet nothing got wet (except the old furniture which we said was allowed to get wet), nothing got damaged, and nothing went wrong. Two Men and a Truck moved my one-bedroom studio apartment in around 3.6 hours. I had a lot of furniture and belongings to move (lot of heavy books), and the team handled everything professionally and efficiently. They were quick, friendly, and took great care with my furniture throughout the move. Everything went smoothly and the whole experience was stress-free. Extremely disappointing experience. I would not use Two Men and a Truck again. I was given an estimate of around $500 for my move. TMAAT now says the final cost was $2,170 — more than FOUR TIMES the estimate — and despite this, I still had to physically help with the move and make multiple trips in my own car to finish transporting my belongings. The company knew before the move that there were two flights of stairs, a narrow driveway and a 1.5m³ double-door refrigerator. Despite this, the two-person crew ultimately said t... read more

Polite, on time, efficient and well packed. Everything was beautiful executed. From internal furniture moves to packing up the truck. Gabriel and Lewis were a delight to have working on this job. I have used 2 men and a truck probably at least 20 times as I am a prolific renovator. Every experience has been 5 star !
