great burgers, fries grilled onions – Great burgers, great fries. Somewhat overcooked, but all the flavor and juicyness that you could ask for.
Stuck in the spoke – The fatboy is one delicious piece of bovine on a bun. However, the ambience and the service could be better. All in all, a great place for a burger and when you come in, ask for Ray Ray.

Better than DB's $29 burger – I rate 'great' burgers throughout the US (occasionally in europe). One of the best is truly Twisted spoke's Fat Boy. I used to go here when the place had 5 tables and a crowed bar. It has grown and almost gotten fancy. However, the burger is just as good as ever. rated # 1 in chicago in my book. (the real #1 is in the suburbs but I keep that a secret). by the way, the weekend brunch is exceptional at T.S.
Yeah, baby. – Ah, so many grumpy people. Yes, the Burgers are amazing. The bar is deep and tasty. The waitsfaff does have some attitude, but I like it. I guess that's because I'm male and all the waitstaff I've seen was very attractive. So have an amazing burger, a good drink, and relax.
Great Bloody Mary's – This is my favorite place to sit outside and drink a spicy red bloody mary. Awesome burgers and fries as well. The ambiance - well, you have to check it out. The name of the place is a good hint. Fun crowd - good, but laid-back service.
Fun on the deck – This is one of my all-time places. They do up good pub grub in a fun atmosphere. The deck is my place to hang on a nice summer night. I like to take unsuspecting dates to the Spoke late night on Saturdays to have brunch after midnight and see how they react to the old porn movies shown in the bar.
Burger Bonanza – I go to the Spoke all the time and the ratings are well justified. The burgers, bloodies, and brunch are all truly top notch. The only time I have seen any surliness out of the servers was when a customer got out of line and deserved a good smack in the head.
Phew to Twisted Spoke Management... – Please let Twisted Spoke owners know that their service is horrible and it doesn't help the fact that the food and ambiance is lacking as well. This dive needs to slide back to the bottom of the list and even then I think that slot maybe too good for this place. I say don't bother.
