I have been seeing Dr carina for 8.5 years and will never go to any other doctor. She is amazing, caring, thoughtful and really listens to you. She is my 3 kids dr as well, helped me through a twin pregnancy, lots of other health concerns and mental health. 10000% the best practice on the Sunshine Coast. The admin and nurses are also top tier and super friendly.
I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this clinic, specifically with Dr Carina. I was initially booked incorrectly by the clinic, which to their credit, they offered to fit me in with the correct doctor the same day, which I appreciated at the time. However, after waiting a hour for this appointment time, I was seen by Dr Carina and was spoken to in an unnecessarily rude and dismissive manner from the moment I entered the room. Lovely experience with kind and welcoming staff and Dr’s & appointment was exactly on time. I have often found doctors appts a bit anxiety inducing and generally avoid them as I’ve found many place I’ve been to be dismissive or quite harsh. I immediately felt at ease here and would recommend to anyone I know.
This is the last time I will attend this practice. Every single time I have waited over an hour. I understand emergencies come up but I have been here on several occasions and I have waited at least an hour to an hour and a half each time. They are simply over booking and trying to see as many people as possible. The waiting room is chocker block.
