I have been to a few shops in Charlotte and let me tell you, none compare to this one. They say that a clean shop isnt a busy one well this shop will put that phrase to rest - they have the nicest, cleanest facility I have ever been to, especially for a tranny shop. And if anyone knows anything about Dealerships or even Nascar shops, GOOD shops ALWAYS keep their shop clean. Twin Transmissions is a great repair shop and I highly recommend them
This shop represents a business that actually cares about their customers!! I had to drive to Florida to see my sick father ASAP, BUT my transmission went out. I was distraught and didnt know what to do.. I called Twin and they pushed my job ahead of the schedule and even stayed late to finish the work so I would be able to leave on time to see my sick father. They really care and I appreciate that!!Go with Twin, they are not after your money or to fool you - they really care about building relationships!
We were devastated when the transmission in our Honda went out, but luckily the guys at Twin were able to have us up and running again in just 3 days. They also offered a rental car while our vehicle was being worked on, which we also thought was great. Look, I've been to several auto shops in the Charlotte area. Ever since I moved down to Charlotte, my Honda has gone through its ups and downs. Most recently, my Honda's transmission failed. I didn't want to go back to the same auto shop I had been to before for such a large and extensive repair, so I looked around and finally someone told me about Twin Automotive. Twin was suggested to me by a friend of mine who had a transmission rebuilt there. I went with Twin based upon this recommendation and without price checking other shops. So basically I dove in head first with this company. And I have to say that I am very impressed... The waiting room was very clean, unlike other shops I had been in before. Very satisfied with all the years I have been going to Twin Automotive and Transmission. Over the past 3 years I have had to bring in two different vehicles for transmission rebuilds, and 3 cars total for minor repairs and service. Outstanding work by professionals in their field! There is a big difference between Twin Automotive and any other transmission shop in the Charlotte area. Twin Automotive took great care of me and my vehicle! My transmission was rebuilt 2 years ago by another trans shop so when it failed, I was pretty disgusted. Can't say enough good things about the guys here at Twin Automotive & Transmission. I came in with a car that simply would not move anymore and was completely distraught. I have absolutely no mechanical knowledge but these guys talked me through everything. Turns out my honda was unable to move because my transmission had went out.
