This building has the most excessively sensitive smoke detectors I have ever encountered in my life, like I have seen SHOWERS set these off. It’s gotten so bad I actually figured out the type of smoke detector they use is the most sensitive style on the market!! Be prepared to have a fire alarm go off at least once every day or two because that’s the reality of living here, and it doesn’t help that the faucets in every unit take a full minute of running to heat up to room temperature. Twin River Commons is the best off-campus housing! All staff are extremely friendly and eager to help. The furniture is in great condition, and the apartment layouts are very useful and functional. The gym, coffee machine, and the courtyard are also great additions!
DO NOT LIVE HERE. Sure the apartments are decently nice but the staff are so incompetent and rude that they ruin it. Smoke detectors go off constantly. On the weekends building is ridiculously loud and has paper thin walls, so be prepared to go somewhere else if you need to get any work done. If you pay $75 a month for parking you may not have a parking spot on holiday weekends when people let all their visiting friends park in the lot.
