Okay, so I usually always have amazing experiences at this hospital but not one night. A couple weeks ago, an I was experiencing a bad mental health crisis and needed medical help. I had called 911, two amazing RCMP officers show up, they were great. We were waiting for an ambulance but the officer said it was going to be a 2-3 hour wait, so he decided to drop me off here, to be medically watched (I had taken an overdose) and that the ambulance would pick me up there to get me to Dartmouth General for help. Look I feel the staff tonight is under trained but a few. In massive pain with a swollen jaw. Light headed feel sick due to a broken tooth. I go there and the doctor leaves after listening to him tell stories while I wait for triage. This was after the doctor walked past me and even looked at me then just left. Then the triage is gone so a paramedic sees me looks at my tooth from afar and they offer me Tylenol. Then Told they cannot give prescriptions and that's fine as well. So we sit and I leave. The doctors and nurses went above and beyond to look after me and did everything they could to make me more comfortable. The service time was quick — in and out in less than 3 hours including x rays and a few different treatments.
