Dr is great she truly cares about your pet
I am sharing the traumatic experience back in February of 2026 that my partner and I endured during the final hours of my 11-year-old cat's life. I live out of town and brought my 6-month-old puppy here for a simple nail trim. Unfortunately, it was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. I understand puppies can be nervous, but I was shocked by how my dog was handled. She was forced onto her side while she was squirming, and then another employee came over, grabbed her collar and twisted it to try to make her stay still. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Very good with animals. Prices for visits, surgeries etc. are reasonable.
We have two rescue dogs who are afraid of everything. It’s been a challenge to try and get their nails trimmed, but it’s been three months and we had to get it done. The vet at Twin Lakes was super. Patient kept giving us new options. We were in there three times trying to get it done. I am so happy to say that on Thursday we were able to get both of them done. thanks to the vet sitting on the floor, taking our time holding their paw, talking to them. I cannot praise her enough.
