If you have a unit that was installed by them and it needs a replacement part that they don't have on their van, it's because they're cheap and won't spend money to stock the service vans. Instead they'll make something up and charge you $180 to come back out when they get a deposit to order the part. Everyone at the company enables this behavior and I wouldn't be surprised if they sell to private equity or go bankrupt within the next 5 years. Call literally any other company
My gas log insert was installed today. Matt and Caleb did a beautiful job. They were friendly and professional. They were also very neat and protected my floors and carpet. I now have a beautiful and usable fireplace and am so happy with how it turned out. It looks so much nicer than the old set. So pleased!
Great fireplace options - the Mendota units look really nice. Had ours installed 4 years ago, everything went smoothly. Had a valve issue just recently and they were able to easily replace it and get the unit running great right away! Very happy with the service.
We hired Twin City Fireplace to repair and reline our chimney and rebuild the exterior crown. Initial conversations were positive, and the lead technician seemed knowledgeable. We just replaced our 30 yr old Mendota fireplace with a new one. The process of determining what would be a great fit for our house was made with great customer service and an amazing install crew. I highly recommend TCF & Stone if you want excellent attention to detail with a new fireplace. Matt and Caleb were courteous, clean and answered all of our questions throughout the install. They made sure we understood how to use the fireplace and left our property clean.
