This facility was horrible. My disabled brother stayed there and since he is non verbal they thought he didn’t have good sense. They would talk about him like he wasn’t going to text me to let me know. Once they realized that they started to mistreat him so badly that his nurses would call me and tell me to remove him. They only fed them sandwiches.

Please be aware of Lonell Phaire. She came from a facility in Orangeburg and took over Twighlight Manor some time ago. It's to my understanding that she is now going to be over a facility in or around Irmo called Art of the Living. Please be very cautious if any of your loved ones are under her care. She gets onto her staff for feeding the patients in what she deems excessive in amounts (For 19 people she fixed 13 sandwhiches). Please google this place before making your decision! There is an article from February 2022 of the only person on-site being a housekeeper who called in a death. Other residents taken into police custody because they had no food or medications. Shame on all involved for this horrible treatment. So heartbreaking.
