disappointed yet again! – Well , my wife and i have been going to the twigs in wandermere for about three years. At first it was a very great experience!! good food well made martinis!! very well !! but the last few times (this year) that we have been there , the food has been a bit sub par (bland fish tacos) But more important to us is the fact that when we go we like to have a couple of their tasty martinis!!! (Mango and huckleberry) but lately they have only been filled about half way:( now we are not big complainers, but... read more

I LOVE TWIGS! – Obviously there is a reason I want to go back there, every year, for my birthday. I love the atmosphere, I love the food, and consider it a treat. I go to the one on the South Hill, though.

Overrated, and still hungry – Sometimes sudden success can be a bad thing. Just dumped about $200 there for a mother's day meal. There were 10 of us, and we made reservations long ago...they seated us at a table made for 8 facing the parking lot, in what appeared to be a walkway. We asked for the view, they said no, and the staff could really care less. Asked for drinking water about four times, and we never did get it. My nine year old fit my entire $22 halibut "special" in one hand and still had half her fingers showing. H... read more

Great atmosphere – The staff is friendly and hard working, the decor is wonderful. The atmosphere is laidback and pleasant. The man-made pond by the outdoor patio is a nice touch. I was told that they even went as far as populating it with a variety of fish and insects in order to create something of a new eco-system. A bald eagle has even settled in the area, which makes for some nice dinner time visuals! The food is fantastic in comparison to the other restaurants in the area (mostly cheap fast food hamburger and Mexican c... read more

Better than I expected – Dimmed lights and elequent decor is the least of Twig's fancy service. The menue, drinks, and pleasent waiters/waitresses are by far the best I have encountered. My favorite time to come is in the summer and eat out in the patio where they have a beautiful pond to eat by. This restaraunt is not a Spokane restaraunt, but seems like one that would be in a bigger city (I'm a travel agent). Try it out, I assure you'll like it!

Generally O.K. Don't be fooled by nice decor. – Great ambiance, unbelievable martinis. But ask Twigs what their well is, you will be very suprised to know that you are getting Don Pancho Tequllia rather than Cuervo, or Monarch vodka rather than Stoli's. At Twigs martini prices I'd expect a little more. The waitstaff is generally not knowledgeable when it comes to the food. This is based on several experiences. To me it is tacky when a server cannot describe the food, does not know the main ingredients in the dish and does no... read more

Great Ambiance, Overpriced Chow – We really like to go to Twigs when we have just enough time for a drink. Better Martini's than you'll find anywhere! The actual dinner menu sounds so appetizing, but it's really kind of pitiful chow and way too expensive for the quality and amount of food. When you have a moment to scoot on up to the bar . . . . . it's the place!

You're buying the experience – When you go to a martini bar you're buying the experience. Twigs (Northside) lives up to that with an excellent collection of martinis, upscale microbrews and a fascinating menu. It's expensive outside of happy hour, but you're buying a romantic atmosphere with no screaming kids, excellent ambience and quality service. If that's what you desire I greatly recommend it.
