We needed to change rooms and it was a nightmare. Had to lug coolers and suitcases up 2 flights of stairs because the elevator was broken - with no notification. The staff did nothing to make the transition into the next room convenient or speedy to say the least. When we did arrive in our new room around 4:30 the AC was broken and it was 90 degrees! Room was old and small and the kicker was the chewed up gum in our ice bucket!
We’re a small family from Fort Lauderdale and wanted to get away from the city to reconnect with nature. Tween Waters Inn & Marina was exactly what we needed. Honestly, I can’t believe this is rated as only 3 stars — it feels more like 4 or 5. The property has 2 beautiful pools, 3 restaurants, and even a shuttle around the island. We had an incredible weekend. I recommend it 100%. The attention at the pool was super special. We have to come back and stay longer in this beautiful place.
Family vacation - love the laid back atmosphere. Always enjoy the island life. We stayed in the entire family stayed with us at the Tarpon cottage. Loved hanging out on the porch in the mornings and evenings.
