Room was infested with cockroaches. Went through the supplied can of spray keeping them at bay. Dripping tap, noisy a/c (pipes rattle when compressor going). No data service unless you use their WiFi (which is free), which is strange this close to town. Bed and shower was however good.
Great value for money. A clean room with a decent fridge and an absolutely beautiful view of the Tweed River. Bonus of a free breakfast served in the dining room between 7-8am. It’s on a busy road but surprisingly it was really quiet. All we heard was birdsong and water lapping. This was one of the cheapest of all the motels on our trip, but the best.

Was a nice little retreat unfortunately the old guy who runs the place has no communication skills
Wanted a short break after a hectic few years of 14hr work days (husband), a terminal diagnosis (myself) & a son that's just recovered from brain surgery!! We all love the water & i just wanted a good view & somewhere peaceful, we got it! The view was beautiful & i was able to sit outside our room & take it all in without having to walk more than 10 steps. The bed was also very comfy.
