Was not allowed a refund on a purchase that was made the previous day. No signage saying refunds not given nor is that stated on the receipt. Ignoring consumer laws instead of looking after customers who have rights. I won't be back.
In Australia, consumer law allows the consumer to choose whether they want a refund, a replacement or compensation for a drop in value. The consumer must show proof of purchase. I showed the receipt from last October. I was offered an exact replacement but had no faith in the product. The old woman who runs the shop essentially blamed me for the fault in the product which was laughable and untrue. Consumer service is very good at Target and Harris Scarff. Great customer service and a good range of products
Wonderful service from the husband and wife team there. Very knowledgeable. Thanks so much for going the extra mile and allowing us to refund rather than exchange due to our circumstances. We ended up keeping the item and mum was very happy :)
