5 stars for online delivery Ordered parts for a transverse v6 spark plug job and everything came quick and intact. 3 stars for online pickup Removing 1 star because the online parts pickup does not specify their hours differ from the brick and mortar hours. I was unable to find this discrepancy in any web page or email. I wasted half an hour only to be told this in person. Online parts is 7am to 4pm on weekdays.
Purchased an alternator part number based on my VIN and the Denso Parts website. Denso is one of the main companies that manufactures parts for Toyota. It ended up defective out of the box and they refused to warranty the part based on the same VIN because their systems map the part out to a different part number for US vs JAPAN made models even though both versions ultimately use the same Denso part. Even the Toyota parts website says both part numbers work for my car.
I can’t tell you how appreciative I was by the parts staff at Tustin Toyota. This isn’t just a run-of-the-mill good service review where they’re polite and helpful – it was much more! And it warms my heart, when an organization provides excellent service as their standard, because most other places always say they’ll provide good service, but rarely measure up. I want to commend Alfredo in the Tustin Toyota parts department who assisted me with a part I need. He was courteous, professional, and took the time to place my order with pleasant service. This was a much better experience compared to my call yesterday, when I spoke with someone in the same department who was unwilling to assist. Appreciate the excellent help today—thank you, Alfredo!!
Josh in parts was very impolite and gave attitude when trying to pick up an order. He told me I had to pick it up from across the street and that it was closed. It was paint I needed for my car and asked if he i could just buy it with him as it is very inexpensive. He proceeded with telling me they didn’t have and turned around only to start using his cellphone. It was pretty late in the day and he was probably going to leave soon but no reason to treat a customer like he did. I will be avoiding Tustin Toyota moving forward ... read more
