great staff of dr.s! I recently switched Dr's and started going to Dr. Kalamaris. Finally a physician who actually listens and seems genuinely concerned for you! The only downside is that they can no longer be a walk-in facility; however, it's been my experience that they can get someone to see you same-day if needed. Best of all, they don't overbook and make you wait forever like most dr. offices.
Disgruntled Patient I will never go back to this doctors office, and I have advised everyone I know to do the same. The front office staff is rude and has no sympathy for their patients. They would not let me make an appointment to get a very simple procedure done because they said it would not be covered by my insurance carrier. I called my insurance company and verified that they would cover the procedure and they said that it absolutely would be covered. Billing Department The billing department for Tinley Primary Care is a sub-standard operation. They don't return phone calls to clients/customers in a timely fashion. They send out threatening letters that shoudn't be sent in the first place about sending you to collections and tarnishing your credit record. Believe it or not, these letters are UNSIGNED! Not a professional way to operate a business. They are in dire need of an office manager, someone that is people-oriented and caring.
Great Doctor Dr. Gaonkar is one of the most thoughtful and caring doctors I've visited. He was always accessible outside of doctor hours if we had any additional questions about treatment. I would highly recommend him to friends and family.
good doctors are hard to find I've been going to this clinic for several years, ever since before going to college. At first I went to Dr. Hurst, but after an experience with him that left me feeling like he was disrespecting me by looking down on me, I switched doctors. Now I go to Dr. Rossi, and she helps me with nothing but kindness. I think it's all about testing the waters, though. When you find the right fit, keep it.
