My partner and I had a very disappointing time at Tuscan Tavern and Grill. We’ve visited several times over the years while staying in Lake Geneva celebrating our wedding anniversary. Normally I can count on a great meal with a lot of wonderful gluten free options, it’s one of the reasons we love this place. But this past weekend I had genuinely the worst meal I’ve had in a long time. We all ordered different entries. One had the prime rib special, one the walleye & one the spaghetti with meat sauce. Portions were generous. The au jus for the prime rib was oregano forward so beware. There was a drizzle of balsamic syrup which wasn't needed but didn't overwhelm. All 3 were delicious so would definitely go there again. Though the restaurant was very busy, the service was superb. One could tell the other diners were all having a great time which added to the positive experience.
We had such a great experience here! The hostess was incredibly kind, and even though there was a 30-minute wait, it flew by because we grabbed drinks at the bar. The bartender made an amazing lavender lemon drop — highly recommend trying it! We also ordered the bruschetta appetizer, and it was SO good.
