We opened our doors in November, 2004...The Tuscan Oven Pizzeria was now a reality and it was up to us to make it a success.The previous year had been filled with many questions of..."You want to do what? You want Me to do that? Seriously???"But this was Ted's dream and he knew it would work. The timing wasn't perfect, but when is it ever? A Night of Waiting Was not at all impressed by having to wait over an hour for a table. Dozens of people crammed into the foyer area, hot and stuffy with limited seating. They apparently don't take bookings so this is a regular thing. Food eventually came and it was fine, a bit greasy.
Yummy oven fired pizza! The cal-zones are awesome, the pizza is great, and the prices are pretty darn good. The parking lot is small so get there early! But, we haven't had anything at Tuscan Oven that we didn't like.
Pizza Hut?!? You're wasting your money! The Tuscan Oven Pizzeria has got to be the best pizzeria (if you could call it that) my family and I have ever eaten at. Great atmosphere and fine wines, and the pizza cannot be beat. And the prices, let's just say that for about the same price you could get a pizza that tastes more like cardboard at Pizza Hut.
Best pizza once a year! We come from a city that is known for its Italian food, among them pizza. I know of no place in the area in and around St. Louis where the pizza can compare with the quality and taste of those prepared by Deanna and Ted at the Tuscan Oven. We always plan a meal there while we are in Florida in the winter not just for the food, but also for the service and the atmosphere! Pat and Chuck B.
Yummy Pizza We really dont have many great pizza places around here.. at least until we found this one. This restaurant is housed in what used to be a gas station. The pizza is the main item on the menu and is absolutely delicious! the prices are really great as well. Go early because they are busy all the time!
