Perfect for winter camping! We stayed in Turtle Shell #1. We were worried about how warm it would be but it was so toasty in there. We only used a duvet and sheets and the one morning was -29 degrees Celsius. There was surprisingly a lot of space. They have cubbies, some shelving, even room under the bed. Booked this last minute instead of tent camping and I loved it. The turtle shells are located in their own little cove that is so charming. We had the perfect amount of room in our shell, it was perfectly clean when we entered, and it was very simple to do our own check in. The blinds were a lovely addition to the turtle shell—you were able to have them fully open, half, or completely blacked out! (Which my boyfriend loved for the mornings).
