There’s nowhere else like it. Turtle Island is a place that inspires you to step into the past and use your hands like our ancestors did to build their world. It brings amazing people together and has brought up very accomplished outdoors folk who carry on traditional skills and care for the earth wherever life ends up taking them. My son and nephew have attended the boys camp the last two years and had an incredible experience, so my brother and I decided to go for a weekend. We took the 2 day Forestry Workshop at Turtle Island this past weekend. It was taught by Eustace, and I can’t begin to tell you the amount of knowledge I gained.
