Wow! What a great spray pad! It's well designed, drains well, has areas for big kids and babies, shade, benches, and surrounded by 3 playgrounds!
My late grandma; Stella Brown, used to sell soft drinks and potato chips in the kitchen whenever Turtle Island had bingo in the gymnasium back in the 1990s. They also used to have a snow cone machine in the cantina. Also; Turtle Island used to have both an SNES & a Sega Genesis that B.L.A.S.T (Before Lunch and After School Time) donated to them back in the early 1990s.
Most of the staff are lazy, and unmotivated; pick up your children and you find staff in a dark room with children, quite alarming... I'm not to sure what's going on their during the day, but this place either needs more funding or simply staff that can stand longer than 5 min... planet fintess memberships are starting at 15$ maybe trying to be more active will boost the moral in that place.
