We just had our last visit with our midwife, Beth Karberg. My only regret is that I didn’t find her sooner in our experience. Beth is absolutely incredible and I am so beyond thankful to her for all her wisdom, support and care. It was an emotional goodbye for me. In 2010, we had our first daughter at home with Beth. She was recommended to me by a professor and I honestly had never even considered home birth before that. We decided to meet with Beth anyway, and we instantly knew it was the right choice. The energy in our visit was so thoughtful, respectful, and loving. My first child was born in the hospital and I knew I wanted a different experience with my second child. I researched many midwives before deciding on Beth and I am so happy I chose her. Her calm presence put me at ease throughout my pregnancy, delivery and post-natal care. Her confidence and knowledge reassured me through it all. I am so grateful for my opportunity to have her by my side during my daughter’s birth and would recommend her skills to anyone.
My pregnancy with my daughter was complicated by an unsure due date. Beth's experience and expertise helped alleviate the stress involved. Our overall birth experience was excellent and we couldn't be happier.
Beth is absolutely amazing. I felt completely comfortable while in her care for the successful homebirth of my 3rd child, and this was after a scary hospital transfer with my 2nd child with a different midwife. My 3rd birth brought the same challenges as my 2nd birth, but the difference was that Beth knew how to deal with those challenges at home without a hospital transfer.
