Super smooth rental experience! Vanessa was very knowledgeable and friendly, had us on the water in no time - highly recommend!
We booked a boat for 8 people and specifically requested a tube, but when we arrived, no tube was available. It also took about 30 minutes past our start time before we could even get going. Once we finally headed out, the boat had a serious balance issue ; the front tipped high into the air because it was too heavy in the back. Even though everyone was spread out on the boat. Is there a no star option? Worst experience! Do not rent here unless you want to be tacked on with extra bull ship charges and get stuck losing your $1500 damage deposit. Manager is also a peach, threatens with the owner being the 5th most powerful man in Kelowna with big expensive lawyers to come after you!! Go else where!!!
Ownership needs to rethink its partnership with Dave. Dave appears to have a reputation by his own staff as a no show employee/co-owner who rents out his boat but leaves his staff to scramble to figure out who is going to drive it (as required) for the guests on their confirmed rental, just minutes before your appointment. THE MANAGER LEFT US STRANDED! As someone who’s grown up with a family who owns/works in marina’s, I was appalled at this manager’s behavior. Our boat was at a complete stop 15 meters from the gas station and NO ONE on staff including the manager didn’t even offer help! They were all just staring at me as I was waving for help.
