The jewelry is beautiful, but I was shopping for souvenirs as gifts. In my opinion, the clerk sold me a bill of goods. I paid $200 plus for what I now think is a synthetic material molded piece. He said the black elements were horse tail hair which is considered good luck among the Navajo. The eagle shaped head also had special meaning. He was such a slick salesman that I paid, but I sure feel like a real chump for buying.
