Deceptive practices by VAcasa! Booked a property ON the beach so my 89 and 85 yr old parents could walk back and forth for restroom. Payment was collected at reservation. 2 weeks later day of arrival when on the way I was notified the rental should have not been rented. Rating for Vacasa rental property management: fully and utterly unconcerned staff that the rental property they represents can NOT be put up for rent. Summarization of few issues: -1/3 of house couldn’t be inhabited due to strong chemical smell -not informing us of security issues: the sliding door, with access from the street, wasn’t locking. This review is based on vacasas incompetence of handling a situation. The photos on vacass of a vacation rental was.not accurate. Different bed and couch in the unit. Arrived to find the couch dirty with food and stains. Ac vent was removed that had mold on it. The biggest issue was the bed; hard as a rock. Woke up the first morning with back and leg pain a d difficulty moving. Night 2 same thing. Stayed at a nearby hotel and felt refreshed the next day.
