I recently worked with Century Communities for our new home purchase, we did go forward with our purchase but it was an unpleasant experience to say the least. We purchased the fully furnished model home in Turnberry Crossing. The house itself has some amazing designer features, such as a 3 bay garage and an extended covered patio. Bad experience and no compassion at all. It was rocky from the start, I jumped through hoop after hoop, leaving work multiple times a week to make sure I had everything turned in within minutes after I was asked. I truly believe everything happens for a reason so maybe this was a good thing. I used their lender, credit score near 800, got approved for everything and was looking to close 6/24. 19 hours before closing we were informed the appraisal came back $50k lower and that I had to pay the difference up front. Yanno I’m not one to write bad reviews but …. I’ve lived here over a year now of course my one year warranty is done. I HAVENT HAD A WORKING OVEN SINCE THE DAY I MOVED IN. I’ve had 4-6 different electricians in here all have ZERO clue why but when pre heating my oven once it hits 350 breaker flips. I’ve had breakers replaced even had the oven replaced to a “new” oven (it had stains all over it and used on the inside of the oven, so seeing the stains I was like hey at least I know it’s not the oven if it works) NOPE.
