Beautiful historic theater in the middle of downtown Washington. Can be rented for events. USA Dance holds their monthly dance there.
I host a spoken word here every month "second verse" I am delighted that The Arts council is trying to be more diverse and inclusive bc it has not traditionally been as inviting to POC. They are growing in me but we will see if they keep it up! If you're in town on The 2nd Friday of the month, come on down to 2nd verse!
We drove from Charleston,SC to watch our Grandchildren perform with Solina Dance. The theater is located in beautiful downtown Washington,NC in the historic area and not difficult at all to find. Although there were many people in the lobby, the line moved quickly and the staff was upbeat and friendly. Once inside, theater is well kept, beautifully decorated and cozy.
