Food is very good. Service is not bad. Ambience does not match price. There was no AC on a warm day: felt stuffy and hot. The first half hour I was there, small children (seem to be of either the owner or employee) were running around screaming. Not quite commensurate with the $75/person (including tip) price.
I love Mediterranean food and was very excited to try this highly reviewed Turkish place for dinner yesterday. I entered the restaurant around 5:00pm. There were 2 people working behind the (pretty tall) counter, and neither of them addressed me. I could also tell there were a couple of people in the dining area sitting at a table. The appetizers, wine, and desserts are okay. Main course disappoints. As another review said, any restaurant or street cart in NYC has better food. Typical Westchester restaurant trend of "overpriced and not that great"
I ordered Grub Hub. The Shrimp platter with the rice was so delicious. It was really good for take out!!!! Plus the Falafel sandwich was also delicious. Excellent quality. I have not been inside the restaurant
Go somewhere else. If you have never had good falafels then this would feel great to you. This place is for people in westchester that have never set foot in the city to get falafels. There is nothing about it that’s worth $30 I paid for falafel platter. Rice terrible. Salad worse. Falafels ok. On top of it the miniature white sauce and hummus you get had a hair so went straight to garbage.
