Believe the hype and reviews. Turgeau’s is legit and a hidden gem. I ate there twice while visiting Covington and will go back whenever I’m back. The food is on point and so tasty. If you see something you like on the menu just stop in and go for it. You won’t be disappointed. The Gumbo-Laya is worth it alone. Leah was such a treat. So attentive, got my custom order right, always checking on me and just a true southern delight of a human being. Stop by and say hi and enjoy some amazing food and even better company.
The food here is just consistently outstanding. I probably eat at Turgeau's twice a week and I have never had a meal that wasn't great. And, the service is of that caliber as well. Highly recommend.
Very nice local restaurant with excellent ability to accommodate dietary restrictions. Friendly staff. Quick food delivery after ordering. Very good food on two occasions for me and my companion ( we returned for breakfast after lunch the day before) highly recommended.
