I would like to share my frustrating experience today. There are some pure couch seeds that I was interested to purchase, so I called their office to make some enquiry and see if they are open. The off site reception advised me they are open until 4.30 pm. So I drive to the office, only to find the entrance gate was closed around 3.50 pm. Purched some of their "pure couch" grass seed. It claims to be 100% couch grass and minimum 85% germination. The area i seeded is now becoming overgrown with buffalo grass mixed in with some couch. I've never had buffalo grass nor do any of my neighbours. I mow my own lawns, so there's no chance of cross contamination from other mowers. As for germination, o was lucky to get 50%. I've spent lots of time and money on my lawn to get it to this point, and this has now set me back significantly.
