After 9 years and 260,000 kms. my Golf R displayed an EPC light. My VW dealer (who I love) said I needed a new turbo because of a stuck wastegate and it would cost $ 5,400 to repair. I started looking at options and luckily I found TPC... These guys are the best, I left a message and they called back right away. I ordered the Stage 2 Civic Type R turbo (FK8) from TPC. I was most interested in retaining near OEM spool, while still tapping into more upper middle-high RPM boost. I strapped this turbo onto a 21' Honda Accord 2.0T; I'm running an E-30 flex fuel blend. After a series of e-tunes (through Derek Robinson at IMW- highly recommend), we got her dialed in perfectly.
