The Tunkhannock Creek Viaduct, also known as the Tunkhannock Viaduct and the Nicholson Bridge, was built by the Delaware, Lackawanna & Western Railroad (D.L.&W.) in 1912 and was completed, dedicated and ready for use on November 6, 1915. This massive reinforced concrete bridge will celebrate its centennial in November 2015!

Beautiful, amazing structure. Wish we could have gotten a bit closer without being honked at and almost ran off the road. However, great view, even as the sunset.
