Visit to ED due to persistent chest pain ended up being a completely worthless exercise after a "Doctor" who looked like he'd just finished a shift on a construction site (complete with dirty hi vis shirt) had decided what my diagnosis was before even entering the room to see me. Any request for further testing beyond the ECG and blood test performed by the nurse I saw before him was met with responses such as "we are too busy" despite the fact that pretty much every other bed was empty at the time. Went in with some serious issues to be told go see a gp which costs $120 I don't have and wait 16 days to see the gp because all she wanted was her coffee pretty much got the feeling I was invading her personal time while she was on duty didn't get to see a doctor thumbs down Tumut public hospital U need to do your job at least it ain't appearance money
