Tumby Bay Marina Motel is close to the Centre of town and is in a nice quiet location. We booked our accommodation over the phone directly with the owner and access to our room was via a key lock box at the front door of our allocated room. Contrary to some reviews, the room was extremely clean, spacious, comfortable and the shower was fantastic. We had a pet friendly room, there was plenty of coffee, sugar and milk. The room included TV, a fridge, toaster, microwave, crockery and cutlery. We will definitely stay here again.
We stayed at the Tumby Bay Motel on Berryman Street for five nights and honestly wish we could’ve stayed longer! From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth and easy. The room was spotless, quiet, and well-equipped — and let me just say, the showers were excellent. Hot, strong water pressure — a traveler’s dream. The location is fantastic too. Wouldn't stay here again or recommend it to anyone... Very rundown, not very clean, had to wash all cups, spoons etc as greasy but no sink in the living area so had to use the tiny one in the bathroom... also this was only source of water for kettle etc Soap scum all over shower head, discoloured grout in the shower and sealant broken so water leaked everywhere.. the bathroom was so small that the stained toilet was virtually in the shower Only reason we stayed for the 3 nights was that we booked last minute and it was the o... read more
Stayed for 2 nights here. Wonderful. Quiet and pet friendly so our old boy came with us. Everything’s there coffee tea milk and it’s great sized mini fridge and a microwave. So you can reheat your food if you’re too tired from traveling to go out. Was able to text owner about wifi but before he could reply everything worked.
