Defective gear. The rear belt type kayak seat support was broken and had been for a long time by its appearance. It made for an uncomfortable ride. I managed to get some relief by using my dogs leash but it didn’t work very well so we cut our trip short. I mentioned it one of the employees and he pretended he didn’t know and offered no solution. There were torn threads where it had previously been sewn on and empty buckles where the ends used to terminate, so it’s unlikely he didn’t know.

We rented an inflatable kayak from Tumalo Creek, along with a paddle and helmet. The team there was so friendly, making sure we had everything we needed and knew how to use it. The gear was in great shape and we had a wonderful time using it. There really isn't a better team in Bend than at Tumalo Creek.

Rented a kayak for a family of four (two little kids) and had the best time on the river! Saw tons of birds and ducks and beautiful bend! Savannah helped us get settled and the little kids loved learning from her about the river and the boat. Highly recommend! And ask for Savannah to guide you to the dock!

Had to work harder tubing than expected!!! Thought it would be easier if we would have had something to paddle with eg small paddle, frisbee etc!!! Had to take water shoes off to paddle with. Enjoyed the homes along the way though!
