We have patronized Paddy Rawal's restaurants (Raaga, Raaga-go, and Tulsi) for decades. His cuisine differs somewhat from standard curry restaurants, which we like too. That's not to say you can't get chicken masala or vindaloo like other restaurants offer. There are lots of vegetarian options, as well as chicken and lamb dishes. Tulsi was the most flavorful Indian food I have ever experienced. Our server Virendra was highly attentive and helpful and we enjoyed multiple visits to our table and conversations with the talented Chef Paddy. Numerous vegetarian and vegan options. We will definitely be back next time we are in Santa Fe.
Virendra was a outstanding server and is very helpful in dish selection dishes were perfect with just the right heat.
We went for a late lunch and had an exquisite meal. The crispy spinach mango salad was a perfect start, and each entree was the best in class. The strawberry sorbet and chocolate kulfi were sublime. Easily the most delicious Indian food in NM, with numerous gluten-free options on the menu. We had an excellent meal on the patio. In fact, we feel it was some of the best Indian food we have had. The staff were politely attentive. Our server was Virendra. He should be commended. The chef, himself, came to our table several times. This was a surprise. He is memorably amusing and clearly cares about his customers and business. We will definitely go again and recommend it highly.
