Extremely poor patient experience on multiple occasions with multiple front desk task. Poor phone manner, unfriendly, unhelpful and a barrier to accessing health care. As an allied health professional myself working out of multiple clinics, I have rarely come across such poor service. I will note that I did receive excellent care in regards to the various GPs and nurse I encountered.
If I could do negative stars, I would! FOR RECEPTION (NOT DOCTORS) , I attempted to make an appointment for my adult daughter with a female doctor. The receptionist who answered the phone asked for my daughters name and asked had she been there. I was saying that she hasn't been there for perhaps many years having been living overseas. I also said I should make an appointment as well. I couldn't remember my (female) doctors name at the time and said the wrong name, saying to her "sorry I've just gone a blank". 25 minutes wait. 3 minutes consultation. Advice: put some vinegar on your toes. $85
Actually visited yesterday. Been attending this surgery for 30 yrs. Same Doctor. Dr. Don Macgeachy. Referred by another doctor. (After Hours). Dr. Macgeachy has been a super Care Giver. I have experienced many staff changes.......doctors & Receptionists. When my regular doctor was away from the surgery, Another attended. Sometimes not positive......quite rude one of them.......one Receptionist also was not pleasant. New staff came & went. Always one not pleasant! One still @ surgery & does not address me. After waiting a couple of weeks for my mri, and having already been in 3 times regarding a pain issue and X-rays and ultra sounds, when I requested to discuss over the phone due to the fact that I am a working mum with 3 kids. I was told I must still come in. I reiterated firmly that I just wanted to speak to the doctor on a Tele consult as he had already seen me multiple times and I wanted to just discuss it, I was told no.
