In 1992, Neil Baker at the suggestion of daughter, Daryl, and son-in-law, Larry Kreager, bought Tuggles Gap from Mr. Mills. She arrived with years of restaurant management experience , great recipes, love of the business and her cherished Tuggle's Gap Restaurant - Floyd County, Virginia: Owners Rotweiller, Captain Midnight. The manager of Tuggles Gap is so personable and goes out of his way to make sure your stay there is truly great. We stayed last year for a weekend and again this past weekend. The rooms are clean and the beds are so comfortable. We look forward to our next visit!
Great location and very helpful staff.
Wonderful place right on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The whole motel has clearly been recently updated and refurbished. Nick was great, accommodating an early check in for us. The room was nice, the beds very comfortable. Great breakfast the next morning. Easy access to Floyd just up the road. Would definitely stay again!
Great little motel off the parkway. Stayed here before not long after remodel and it’s just as nice. Brand new rooms, good beds, windows that open. Note: some rooms don’t have mini frig or microwave. All rooms have usb plugs and smart tvs. Home cooked breakfast included by Henry was awesome!
