In 1992, Neil Baker at the suggestion of daughter, Daryl, and son-in-law, Larry Kreager, bought Tuggles Gap from Mr. Mills. She arrived with years of restaurant management experience , great recipes, love of the business and her cherished Tuggle's Gap Restaurant - Floyd County, Virginia: Owners Rotweiller, Captain Midnight. It was a wonderful experience. We loved the atmosphere and location. Thought it was absolutely immaculate, quaint and great beds. The rooms were spotless. You can’t judge a book by its cover. The breakfast was very good and loved the small community atmosphere. Meet some great people.
What a gem, right off of the blue ridge parkway ♥︎ Clean and recently renovated rooms, a quaint and rural location, friendly management, and a wholesome breakfast. I especially loved that rooms are code-locked so you don't have to worry about having a key. I will definitely keep this location in mind for the future.
Nice place, up to date and clean. The included breakfast was great, wasn’t the usual, bland breakfast you get at the big chain motels.
Amazing location right on the Parkway, clean and modern rooms. Highly recommend!
