In 1992, Neil Baker at the suggestion of daughter, Daryl, and son-in-law, Larry Kreager, bought Tuggles Gap from Mr. Mills. She arrived with years of restaurant management experience , great recipes, love of the business and her cherished Tuggle's Gap Restaurant - Floyd County, Virginia: Owners Rotweiller, Captain Midnight. Check in was a snap with the door code provided via text. The room was small and spartan but clean and the bed was comfortable. Received a text the next morning from Nick asking what we would like for breakfast which was included in the price of the room. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Hope that sometime in the future that the cafe is up and running full bore.
Exceptionally clean Well laid out, small sq ft, but incredibly spacious feeling. Powerful AC unit Super friendly and efficient management Only issue was hot water. My wife ran out of hot water during her shower, maybe 10 min long. I waited 10-15 to take mine and still was tap cold.
