Excellent care provided by Dr Pedram Hamrah, Ophthalmology in the Boston location!
Even though I have had different interns over the 12 plus years the main Dr is there overseeing everything. Dr. Laura Snydman is the best. I thought that I would have to explain my issues over and over but she has never let me down.
Have several excellent doctors at Tufts Medical Center. But Primary Care, and several specialists to whom referred by PCP, were terrible. One department diagnosis of ten years turned out, based -- finally -- on biopsy to be false -- a doctor who doesn't listen because institutional prerogatives -- student training -- is prioritized over actual health care. Another specialist discriminated on the basis of disability, and refused to comply with the Medicare and state Patient Protection law (M.G.L. C. 111, S. 70E) -- and my PCP... read more
(Accidentally left review on the other building so re pasting here; this applies to all tufts med providers I’ve seen in the Beiwend building): I’ve gone for primary care, dermatology, and ophthalmology, and am extremely satisfied with all providers I’ve had here. They’ve all spent quite a bit of time with me during my appointments; maybe this is common for academic medicine, but I haven’t always had that same level of attention at private practices.
