Horrible. They canceled Advantage PPO for Medicare and replaced it with less coverage and higher premiums. When I filed a grievance I received a condescending letter that solved nothing. Word salad. I will look elsewhere for my family's coverage. Very disappointing after decades of coverage through Tufts for my business and then Medicare coverage.
I have never been frustrated with a health insurance as I have now. I had a surgery which was planned to be today, 24 hrs before surgery they started asking about stupid information such as height. Weight, smoking status. Let me tell you all my papers have been faxed and received on the 14 th. Can someone explain to me how they are going to kick someone out of Short-Term Rehab because they are not healing as fast as Tufts wants them to? How about a little compassion. Now I have to go on a medical leave to take care of my mother, my son suffers, I suffer. No money comes in. Oh, and we can't get any MassHealth because we actually work. Bad experience with their case manager
Had to switch health insurance companies due to a change in employment. Tufts has been a nightmare to work with. I've never had these kinds of problems with my previous health insurance companies. Their in-network "doctor search" tab is useless because it's never accurate.
