For more than four decades, family-owned Tufport Industries has been designing and manufacturing rugged truck slide-ins, canopies, truck caps, mobile treatment centers and van tops. Bob, the founder, started making truck canopies in 1966 under the name Fibermold in Richmond. His decades of experience in fiberglass manufacturing and honest service lives on with Tufport.

I was initially very excited when I found this product. I've been looking for a light weight camper option for my Tundra, however after asking a ton of questions, I've learned the weights are only estimates. I was told the T62 really would be closer to 600 pounds and every unit is different. Additionally, they don't weigh the unit. They offered to weigh the unit/my truck after it was purchased and on my truck. I am not willing to purchase the unit based on a weight estimate. I was very disappointed.
