I originally decided to go with a Tuffy console years after my TJ stock console was broken into while stationed in Hawaii. I went with the TJ subwoofer model. It arrived timely and was easy to install but a few months later I had a serious issue with the lock sticking. I was ready to spend twice the money on the 2 popular boxes out there till I accidentally saw the Tuffy. What a great design. They utilize the lower half of the console as the bottom of the box (and it's deeper), so it only takes half the material. Installation couldn't have been easier. This is my third box I've bought and I will look first at the Tuffy on the next one. And, they're out of small town America! Cortez, CO Shop local when you can.
Amazing customer service! Bought a product from them 10 years ago which has been rock solid. Unfortunately lost some of the hardware used to put it together (product goes in and out of the vehicle depending on if the hard top or soft top is on) and reached out to get replacements. They responded right away and sent it to me for free. Great quality products and great customer service.
