WARNING‼️ Avoid TEP if you expect efficient service!! We are trying to switch to solar, and TEP has been incredibly difficult, slow, and full of delays every step of the way. It feels like they are intentionally stalling the process because they know we won’t be paying them for power anymore. To make it worse, they refuse to send an actual inspector out to the property. Horrible service and fraudulent predatory practices. The TEP ENERGY SMART REWARDS savings program will damage your hvac equipment and will NOT save you money. They have totally made money off me by forcing my unit to work harder than necessary trying to cool at high temps during back to back events while I was out of town and my unit on vacation mode with out the ability to monitor my email every minute of the day to cancel participation was unreasonable damaging and did nothing other than to fill this greedy company’s pocke... read more
Zero back up for storm/monsoon season. Not that we have a choice to get power from any other greedy over priced electricity provider. You would think with all the taxes they take from us, they’d create ways to have light up every street for every community, regardless of the location (I’m currently south of Tucson). Makes me ashamed to be in a city where we can’t come up with anything other than “Outage Alert - We’ll call you when the power is back on.” 1 star since they give you options for arrangements during summer. Lived in Tucson all of 4 months and have had 3 nights of power outages already! For a company that charges more than SRP & APS, you would think you'd get better service. 1st outage was 6 hours, the others were less than 10 minutes. So at least those 2 weren't that inconvenient, (only reason they got 2 stars). I've never lived anywhere in a city that has this many outages.
