I have been working for Supercuts here in Abilene, TX since January of 2024. Tucorp owns this company. What I have experienced from working here is 3 late check payments, no commercial retail products to sell in our store. Not setting our store up with backbar. Backbar includes shampoos ,conditioners, clippercide, waxing papers, pre-wax cleaner, styling products. This is the worse company to work for. Other than all the drama and power trips in upper management, I can say the worst thing about this company is how unsupportive they are of a stylist’s journey in this industry. I lived in fear for five years because all I ever heard was nothing but bad things about commission based and booth rent salons from our GM. My experience with this corporation was awful with the exception of few people; you know who you are. Tucorp does not value their employees whatsoever. I moved from Louisiana to years ago to work here in West Texas and wanted to stick with the Supercuts brand and was quickly disappointed even before the pandemic. I tried sticking it out to see if things would change for the better but time and time again there were problems. Tucorp as a company is a shadow of its former self based on coworker accounts.
